Konstsmide 462-250 Twilight sensor, time and passive infra-red detector. The nightguard is an ingenious device with three functions. Twilight sensor switches on the light automatically when darkness starts to fall, until the timer takes over, then switches it off at dawn. The timer switches off the light at a pre-set time later in the evening, saving electricity until the dark morning hours, when it switches on the light at a pre-set time. The passive infra-red dectector is automatically connected when the light is switched off at night. If anyone approaches within 10 meters of the sensor, the light switches on for 10 minutes. The Night-guard can be connected to one or several outdoor lamps, up to a maximum of 1000w. Do not mount the lantern where the light may be reflected back onto the sensor. Installation is simple, but should be done by a qualified electrician. We do not recommend the use of this sensor with fittings containing energy saving lamps.
