Bathroom Lighting Advice
Knowing what sort of light fitting to install in a bathroom can be confusing, all bathroom fittings
are subject to certain wiring regulations and must be selected according to each fittings Zone rating.
To make this process as simple as possible, we have included an image of the bathroom zones
on our website, with detailed information below describing the requirements for each zone.
All our bathroom fittings have zone requirements included in there description, so to find the right fitting
for your bathroom, simply look at the image to find out which zone you need a fitting for and match that zone
to a light fitting in our bathroom lighting range.

What does all this mean?
Most of the ceiling spotlights and fittings in our bathroom section are rated for zone 2 and above, therefore they
can go almost anywhere in the room. If your installing a light inside a shower you should select from our
Recessed Lighting category and select a fitting with an IP65 (or over) Rating.
We do not currently stock products suitable for installation in Zone 0. IF you require any further advice on the
