Returns Policy


Scotlight Direct has a 7-day returns policy for all products on our website as required under the Distance Selling Regulations of 2000. The following terms and conditions apply to all refunds.


You must inform us in writing, by fax: 01896 831086, or email: sales@scotlightdirect.co.uk, within 7 days of receipt of your order (the date of delivery will be recorded by our carriers) that you wish to return goods or if you have any damages, faults or shortages. Scotlight Direct cannot accept responsibility after this period.


Goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all other associated components sent with them i.e. lamps.


Goods should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition.


For unwanted items the cost of carriage incurred for sending the goods out will be deducted from the refund (usually £6.98) and the customer is responsible for any return carriage.


Scotlight Direct will in no way be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty goods or shortages such as electricians fees, time taken from place of employment etc.


We have the right to refuse refunds for failure to meet the above criteria


The above do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
